Taking place across the Early May Bank Holiday weekend, the event will see participants of all abilities take on the marathon, half marathon, relay and fun run – all finishing inside Stadium MK in front of cheering crowds.
As runners make their way through Central Milton Keynes, there will be some temporary road closures in place. In particular, visitors should be aware that Saxon Gate, along with sections of Silbury Boulevard and Midsummer Boulevard, will be closed while the race passes through the city centre. Full details of all road closures can be found on the official event website, and drivers are advised to plan ahead as access to certain roads will be restricted during the event.
Despite the closures, the city centre is one of the best places to soak up the atmosphere. With wide boulevards and plenty of space to gather, it offers a fantastic vantage point to cheer on runners as they pass through.
Why not make a day of it? Grab a coffee, find a spot along the route and support participants as they take on the challenge – whether they’re chasing a personal best or simply aiming to cross the finish line.
