This summer,
Unity Place is packed with family-friendly activities to help keep the kids entertained throughout the school holidays.
The summer programme includes a fantastic mix of free events, creative workshops and affordable activities, making it easy to enjoy a fun day out in Milton Keynes.
Get creative with free photography workshops
In partnership with Pixel Affiliate, Unity Place is hosting a series of free photography workshops on 11, 18 and 25 August, designed to inspire the next generation of photographers.
Perfect for young people aged 8 to 17, these fun, hands-on sessions introduce the basics of photography in a relaxed and supportive environment. Separate workshops for ages 8–12 and 13–17 ensure each session is tailored to the age group, making them ideal for complete beginners.
Enjoy a free family film
Bring the family along for a free screening of Hoppers on the big screen in the
Urban Food Market on Monday 11 August at 11am.
There's no need to book – simply turn up, grab a seat and enjoy a relaxed morning together. With plenty of food and drink available afterwards, it's the perfect excuse to stay for lunch.
Build your own mini terrarium
Children can get hands-on at drop-in terrarium workshops with Tiny Terra on 4 and 20 August, from 11.30am–2.30pm in the Urban Food Market.
No booking is needed, and youngsters can create their own miniature terrarium to take home from just £5.
Family-friendly food
If you're making a day of it, the Urban Food Market has a dedicated children's menu available throughout the summer holidays. Kids can choose from favourites including pizza, while adults can enjoy the wide variety of food on offer – making Unity Place a great spot for a family lunch.
Back-to-school haircuts
Getting ready for the new school term?
ROK Barbers at Unity Place is offering boys' and girls' haircuts for children under 13 for just £15 throughout the summer holidays.
Maisie Stanford, Senior Marketing and Communications Executive at Unity Place, said:
