Unity Place is inviting football fans from across Milton Keynes to come together and watch England’s World Cup matches on the biggest live sports viewing screen in the city.
From next week, supporters can enjoy England’s key group stage fixtures live on the giant screen in Unity Place’s
Urban Food Market, creating a vibrant matchday atmosphere in the heart of Milton Keynes.
Located just two minutes from Milton Keynes Central station, Unity Place offers fans the chance to experience the action on a screen significantly larger than those found in traditional pubs and bars. With the Urban Food Market open throughout the screenings, visitors can also enjoy a range of special matchday food and drink offers while cheering on England.
The screenings begin with England v Croatia on Wednesday 17 June (9pm KO), followed by England v Ghana on Tuesday 23 June (9pm KO) and England v Panama on Saturday 27 June (10pm KO). Doors open from 4pm for each fixture, giving fans plenty of time to meet friends, grab a bite to eat and soak up the pre-match atmosphere.
Spectators can also take advantage of Unity Place’s dedicated World Cup food and drink menu, featuring hot dogs, pies and nachos alongside beer, spirits and cocktails.
As excitement builds ahead of another major tournament, Unity Place is anticipating strong demand from fans looking for a sociable and family-friendly way to watch the games.
Nathan Kennard, Centre Experience Manager at Unity Place, said: "Major sporting events have a unique ability to bring people together and we wanted to create somewhere special for football fans to experience the World Cup this summer.
"Our giant screen is the biggest for live sports viewing in Milton Keynes, making Unity Place one of the best places in the city to watch England. Whether you're meeting friends after work, bringing the family along or simply looking for a great atmosphere, we have everything under one roof.
"With fantastic food, drinks and plenty of space, we're looking forward to welcoming football fans from across Milton Keynes and cheering England on together."
Unity Place will be showing all three of England’s group stage matches, giving fans the opportunity to follow the team’s World Cup journey from the opening fixture through to the final group game. Supporters can attend individual matches or book for the full series of screenings.
Screenings are free to attend and open to all, although booking is required to guarantee a seat.
