Taking place on Saturday 27 September from 10am – 4pm, the celebrations will bring together shoppers, families, and the local community for a day of entertainment to mark 25 years at the heart of Milton Keynes.
Visitors can enjoy a full schedule of FREE activities across the mall, including:
· Face painting with vibrant designs for children
· Stilt walkers providing high-energy fun and spectacle
· Live music to create the perfect celebratory atmosphere
· Plus, plenty more surprises throughout the day
As part of the anniversary, a special ceremony will also be held for those who shared their stories with the Umbrella Project, where each contributor will be presented with their very own umbrella from the installation as a thank you.
Since opening in 1999, Midsummer Place has flourished into a lively shopping and lifestyle destination, home to top fashion brands, independent retailers, and a bustling food scene. Its 25th anniversary is a celebration not only of the centre itself but also of the community that has supported it throughout the years.
