Milton Keynes Umbrella Project β˜‚οΈ

The Umbrella Project is coming to Midsummer Place in MK City Centre on the 15th March and will run till September 2025.

The Milton Keynes Umbrella Project is set to launch on the 15th March 2025 at Midsummer Place Shopping Centre. This initiative, coordinated by Jane Lambert of ECG Training and Makewell Clinic, aims to celebrate the intelligence, ability, and talent of neurodiverse individuals in the city. The project will feature hundreds of brightly coloured umbrellas suspended in Midsummer Place, creating the largest installation the shopping centre has ever seen.

The Umbrella Project, originally conceived by the ADHD Foundation, has been displayed in various locations across the UK since 2019. Local businesses are invited to sponsor individual umbrellas, with opportunities for logo placement and promotional materials. The project also seeks to involve local school children in decorating the umbrellas, highlighting their unique talents and abilities.

This celebration of neurodiversity aims to foster a more inclusive community in Milton Keynes.
