Tapathon 2026

Can Milton Keynes Help Break a World Record?
Stylized illustration of the six Friends characters dancing around an orange couch, featuring iconic props like the duck, lamp, heart, and picture frame.

Get ready to tap your way into the record books! Midsummer Place is teaming up with MAPA School of Dancing for this year's Tapathon, inviting dancers, families, friends and complete beginners to take part in a nationwide attempt to break the world record for the most people performing the same tap routine at the same time.

After coming so close last year, MAPA is hoping to go even bigger in 2026. This year's routine will be performed to the FRIENDS favourite I'll Be There for You – and no previous dance experience is needed!
